Ready! For Kindergarten® is a program for parents and caregivers to prepare children for a happy and successful school experience. “Research shows that kindergarteners who are ready for school, start ahead and stay ahead year after year.” This is an active workshop and will be offered 3 times a year for PARENTS or CAREGIVERS of children ages 3-5. The workshops will be divided into Language & Literacy, Math and Reasoning, and Social & Emotional. The second and third of these workshops will be the Math and Reasoning with a review of literacy, oral language games and fun activities offered on Tuesday, January 21 and the last session will be a review of all literacy, oral language, math games and include social & emotional transition ideas for heading off to kindergarten in the fall. The last session will be offered on Thursday, April 24. Prior sign up is encouraged!
