Public Notice

Earlier today WCSD #1 received a concerning phone call from an unknown source. The call contained no specific threat to any child or staff member, but law enforcement and the school district quickly enacted emergency protocols out of an abundance of caution in the interest of safety. At this time, law enforcement has deemed that there is no credible threat or concern. All school buildings will release at their regular time and buses will run their regular early release schedule, but there will be extra staff and law enforcement presence throughout the process. Regularly scheduled activities are safe to resume as normal this afternoon. Please direct any questions or concerns to your building principal or Superintendent LaCroix.
